Two businesses robbed in Malvern

A Malvern business was allegedly robbed of R47 000 on August 27.

Constable Mpho Mashakane, the Cleveland SAPS communications officer, said a man was at his shop in Jules Street with his brother.

“He said he saw five suspects approaching the shop. Three suspects remained outside while two entered the shop. The two suspects pointed firearms at them and went behind the counter,” said Const Mashakane.

The men took cash and fled.
