Man robbed at Modderfontein intersection

“The man stole the driver’s laptop, tablet device, cellular phone, wallet and watch,” said Const Mahamba.

A man travelling on Modderfontein Road towards Kempton Park was the victim of an armed robbery when he stopped at an intersection.

The Sebenza SAPS confirmed that the incident took place on Thursday, September 5, at about 11.15pm.

According to the Sebenza SAPS communications officer, Constable Sharon Mahamba, “The man stopped at an intersection when the traffic lights turned red. While waiting, the suspect smashed his driver’s window and pointed a firearm at him.”

“The man stole the driver’s laptop, tablet device, cellular phone, wallet and watch,” said Const Mahamba.

Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
