The Rainbows and Smiles team hosted a golf day at Huddle Park as part of the September Childhood Cancer Awareness month.
Ms Mandi Higgins and her team hosted a fun and memorable golf day.
The golfers were treated to all kinds of amusement and games. The day was topped off by Mr Michael Sholtz, the trick-shot artist, providing some amazing golf “magic”.
Rainbows and Smiles’ primary mission is to provide emotional, social and financial support to families and caregivers in need when a child or children of that family is diagnosed with a life threatening illness, such as cancer.
In addition, Rainbows and Smiles encourages childhood cancer advocacy to educate people, in the hope of promoting early detection.
The day was a huge success and the team managed to raise almost R70 000 for children with cancer.
