Jeppe boys excel

Tyler Hattingh, in grade 11, has been selected for the Wits Academy U/21 soccer team. Tyler has shown his sporting ability by being chosen for the Jeppe 1st hockey, soccer and water polo teams and the Central Gauteng Water Polo and Jeppe Quondam hockey teams.

Several Jeppe High School for Boys pupils were congratulated for their recent successes.

Daniel Da Silva, in grade 10, was awarded his Eastern U/16 District Colours in Football. He will be representing the Eastern Local Football Association in a tournament hosted in KwaZulu-Natal in October.

Tristan Haig, in grade 10, competed in the Small Provinces Inter-Provincial Gala recently and achieved two first placings and one second placing, where he achieved a personal best time for the season in the 100 metre breaststroke.

Sydney-William Mdluli, in grade 11, has been selected to be part of the Swaziland Senior National Cricket Squad, representing Swaziland in the Pepsi ICC Africa World Cricket League Division 2 T20 Tournament.

The event is scheduled to take place in Johannesburg at the end of September.
