Dowerglen gardener stabs domestic worker over “bee curse”

It is believed the bees were seen as a curse.

Mr Laurence Dube is wanted by the Edenvale SAPS in connection with the attempted murder of a domestic worker in Dowerglen.

Mr Dube and his victim were working together when the incident occurred.

According to the investigating officer, Detective Constable Mpho Mowasa, the two were arguing about bees on the property on September 19.

It is believed the bees were seen as a curse.

“Mr Dube stabbed his victim several times before fleeing the residence,” said Det Const Mowasa.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mr Dube is urged to contact Det Const Mowasa, at the Edenvale SAPS, on 011 553-8633 or 083 375 6246 immediately.
