The driver of a bread truck was shot and killed outside a spaza shop in Tsenelong Section, Tembisa, at about 7.50am.

Tembisan journalist Malebo Debeilo, who is on the scene, reported that the three men fled on foot after the driver of the bread truck was shot in the chest.

It is not known whether the criminals took anything.

“He was delivering bread at the time of the shooting. The three suspects then fled on foot after the shooting. The SAPS is currently questioning the driver’s colleague, who offloads the bread from the trucks,” said Malebo.
