The Cleveland SAPS attested one suspect in connection with a murder.
Four men stabbed the victim to death along Jules Street, Malvern, on Sunday, October 12.
According to the Cleveland SAPS communications officer, Constable Mpho Mashakane, the victim was walking with a friend when they were confronted by four men.
“Two of the suspects were armed with firearms. The other two suspects had knives. An argument ensued and the victim was stabbed several times. He was declared dead at the scene,” said Const Mashakane.
The victim’s two cellular phones were stolen during the incident.
“Following investigations, one man was arrested and positively linked to the crime,” said Const Mashakane.
