Constable makes station proud

“It felt good to represent Gauteng province and to make my station proud.”

These were the words of Constable Maphuti Kgare, upon her return from a national netball championship organised for police officers.

Const Kgare formed part of the technical team that provided support to the players.

Although the players came home with silver medals, the technical team received gold for excellent officiating.

She is stationed at the Bedfordview Police Station.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi, said the station was proud to have had representation at the championships.

“She made us proud and we wish her all of the best going forward,” he said.

Const Kgare added that she was not participating only for herself, but for the station.
