Pair obtains highest Guiding award

The pair also completed service to the community and the other requirements, as set out by Girl Guides South Africa.

Caitlin Davies and Zoë Kahl, of the 1st Bedfordview Girl Guide Company, both recently received their Chief’s Challenge Award from Bronwyn Kennedy, the Edenview District Commissioner.

They completed many interest badges, including Outdoor Cook, Car Handy Woman, Emergency Helper, Entertainer, Homemaker, Fire Fighter and Fancy Cookery.

The pair also completed service to the community and the other requirements, as set out by Girl Guides South Africa.

The girls enjoyed many camps and outdoor activities, such as canoeing.

The Chief’s Challenge is the highest award that can be attained as a Guide.
