Among the issues raised, the meeting focused on the Bruma Lake rehabilitation project.
The meeting was attended by Mr John Drummond, an engineer, Ms Celestine Mouton from the Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) and Mr Brian Stippeli from NEMAI, which is a consulting company that specialises in the built environment, mining, industrial, water and energy industries, as well as community development.
Residents raised concerns about the lack of bylaw enforcement, illegal dumping and they also wanted to know if the owl project could be rolled out to ward 118 by the City of Johannesburg.
An election was also conducted to fill the posts that were vacant in the ward committee.
Those elected include Ms Zozo Nomphelo, will be responsible for infrastructure and environment, Mr Patrica Jabu Lephoto, for housing and Mr Ndimphiwe Sobanti, for economic development and finance.
