Poetry buddies aim big for 2015
The Rhodes Park Poetry Buddies met for the second time this year, on February 28.
Ms Faradiba Morton asked that children participating should please bring a poem for the Johannesburg Book Fair.
“This year we will write our own story book, compiled by the children. I will teach them to do creative writing. I hope it will be ready for the book fair so that it can be published this year, but we are going to work hard,” said Ms Morton.
She said the children are enthusiastic about the story book and she hopes they will be ready in time.
She urged those who would like to visit to please make an appointment as they cannot afford to waste any time.
Only those who have an appointment will be accommodated.
“If you would like to share anything with the children, please feel free to bring it along,” said Ms Morton.

- November 28.
- December 19.
- Please note that classes start at 10.30am.
