Old rivals at it again on July 25
Schoolboy rugby doesn’t get much bigger than KES vs Jeppe.
The 2015 schoolboy rugby season is about to kick off and Premier Interschools will once again broadcast the most fiercely contested derbies between old rivals.
12 games featuring 14 top schools will be on show from March until late August.
The Premier Interschools Magazine Show returns for a third year, featuring legends of the game every Wednesday prior to Saturday match days on SuperSport at 6.45pm.
The 2015 highlights include the King Edward VII vs Jeppe match.
This derby between Johannesburg’s oldest rivals will be on July 25 at 2pm at KES.
Schoolboy rugby doesn’t get much bigger than KES vs Jeppe.
Last year Jeppe could not pull off a hat-trick of wins as the two teams played to a draw.
KES will be hungry for a first success since 2011, when these matrics were in grade 8.
It will be a fitting way to end their high school rugby careers if they can get one over the old rivals.
