Top SA performers to feature at music festival
Wesley was a former pupil at the school and the stadium will be built in his honour.
The Huddle Park Golf Club and Recreation Centre will host the Yolo 2015 Music Festival on April 18.
The festival will be held in memory of Wesley Simpson, who was killed in an accident on Terrace Road in 2013. The event aims to raise funds for a hockey stadium at Jeppe Boys.
Wesley was a former pupil at the school and the stadium will be built in his honour.
The event will feature some of South Africa’s top performers and DJs, including DJ T, DJ Skye, DJ Phizz and Vin Deysel.
Also on the list of performers for the day is the group 4am.
Tickets for the event are available from webtickets.co.ca or at the gate on the day. Tickets will cost R100 for adults and R50 for children under 18.
Children under two years old will enter free.
Gates for the event will open at 12-noon.
The Huddle Park Golf Course is situated on Club Street in Linksfield.
