Residents are urged to be on the lookout for a gang of robbers operating in the area.

The gang which consists of four men drive around in a white or silver Mercedes Benz.

It is believed that the men are responsible for a number of robberies in the Bedfordview, Edenvale, Primrose and several Joburg East areas.

If spotted residents are urged to contact their SAPS sector police vehicles immediately.
