The Edenvale SAPS confirmed that three units in the same Dunvegan complex were hit by burglars yesterday afternoon.

Resident in the complex, Mr Brandon Groenewald, told the NEWS he had lived at the complex for the past 10 years and always felt safe.

“The doors of the units burgled were kicked in,” he said.

Mr Groenewald added that the burglaries occurred between 11am and 3pm.

The Acting spokesperson for the Edenvale SAPS, Lieutenant Colonel Robbie Roberts, said investigations were underway and officers were following up on all possible leads.

“We cannot, at this time, release detailed information,” said Lt Col Roberts.
