Mr Corrie le Grange’s life is currently in danger as his kidneys are also failing.

He is a community stalwart.

It is not known which hospital he will be taken to as private institutions refuse to take him in due to his family’s financial constraints.

His fiancé, Ms Shammy Rademeyer, said all private hospitals told her that without a minimum of R100 000 upfront, they would not admit her partner.

Emer-G-Med paramedics are on-scene to help remove Mr Le Grange from his house.

More details to follow.
