Hillbrow SAPS Cluster recently arrested 85 people.
Yeoville SAPS communications officer, Constable Thabo Malatji said these people were arrested for different reasons.
“SAPS had different operations on different sections. The crimes included murder, possession of stolen vehicle and property, assault, theft, possession of drugs, intimidation, robbery, malicious damage to property, driving under the influence od alcohol, contravention of the immigration act and possession of dangerous weapons,” Const Malatji said.
He said that the suspects will appear in Hillbrow and Johannesburg Magistrates Court soon.
