A foreign national will appear in the Jeppe Magistrate’s Court on Friday for dealing in drugs.

According to Lieutenant Robert Netshiunda on Thursday, the man was arrested after he gave a laptop bag filled with drugs hidden in the lining to an undercover police officer.

”The SAPS received a tip-off that the man was looking for a drug mule to take the drugs to Mauritius . A trap was set and the suspect was arrested. A bakkie was also seized,” said Lt Netshiunda.

The acting head of the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigations, Major General Mthandazo Ntshiunda, congratulated the officers for the quick response and arrest.
