Members of the community helped the SAPS arrest robbers on Sunday, October 25.
The Yeoville SAPS communications officer, Constable Thabo Malatji, said at around 5pm a man was walking along Rocky Street when he was attacked by three men.
“As he was walking, one man grabbed him from behind, while the other was searching him. He tried to fight back. A third man approached the victim and threatened him with a knife. The men took his cellular phone and money. As the men were fleeing the scene, community members called the police. The three men were arrested moments later,” said Const Malatji.
