
The Yeoville SAPS is looking for a man after his accomplice was arrested for armed robbery on Saturday, October 24.
The incident occurred shortly after 11pm, next to Umlazi and Bezuitenhout streets.
The Yeoville SAPS communications officer, Constable Thabo Malatji, said the victims were opening the gate to their house when they were approached by two men.
“One of the suspects had a firearm. They searched the victims and took their cellular phones and money before fleeing the scene,” said Const Malatji.
He said the victims called the police.
“A 25-year-old man was arrested a few blocks from the scene. He was positively linked to the crime. His accomplice is still at large. We appeal to anyone who has information that can help us arrest the second suspect to call Colonel Moses Raphadu on 082 580 7969 or 011 487-5900,” said Const Malatji.
