
A home owner and her domestic worker were threatened with a piece of metal during a house robbery on Hans Pirrow in Bruma on Monday, November after 7 am.
Cleveland SAPS spokesperson, Constable Mpho Mashakane said the two women were at the kitchen when they heard a loud sound of a door being forceful open.
“The women were confronted by two men. One of them threatened them with a piece of metal. The other told them that he had fire arm but did not took it out. The men tied the women with cable ties and put them into a bathroom,” she said.
Const Mashakane said the men ransacked the house and took cash in foreign currency, jewellery and five cellular phones before they fled the scene.
