The Edenvale SAPS Constable known as "gold tooth" was found not guilty due to insufficient evidence.

Edenvale Community Police Forum confirmed the Edenvale SAPS Constable known as “gold tooth” was found not guilty due to insufficient evidence.
The ECPF made this public announcement on its Facebook page following inquiries from the NEWS earlier this week.
“He is currently back on duty and has been transferred to another police station. We have no further information at this time,” the ECPF stated.
“Gold Tooth” made headline news following Carte Blanche’s July 19 broadcast on alleged police brutality at Edenvale SAPS.
In February 2014, the NEWS reported on concerns raised by one of the complainants interviewed by Carte Blanche earlier this year.
