Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) has issued a notice to inform consumers that Rand Water will shut off the water supply in Harmelia, Klopperpark and Elandsfontein this afternoon to repair a burst pipe on Barbara Road.

Residents, businesses, factories, schools and all consumers should take note that the areas mentioned will be without water from 4pm this afternoon to 8am tomorrow morning, July 16.

Water tankers will be dispatched to the affected area and located at:

• Shopping Centre – Corner Shelton Avenue and Sheri Street in Harmelia
• At Garage – Corner Trek and Babara roads in Elandsfontein.

The Water and Sanitation Department have apologised to consumers concerned for the inconveniences to be caused by the interruption of the water supply.
