A new charity was recently launched at the Glendower Golf Club on October 28 at the Gittins, Youngman and Associates annual charity golf day.
The E-fund charity, which was founded by Mr Ashley Youngman, hopes to provide and assist with the education of the youth in South Africa,
“Ashley believes education not only benefits the deserving learner but their broader community too,” said Ms Shirley Kirchmann
Ms Kirchmann said through the fund two children have already started their education.
The charity event saw golfers participating in a round of golf during the day and enjoying a night of comedy supplied by South African comedians.
Comedians who performed on the evening included Warren Robertson, Shirley Kirchmann and Chris Forrest.
Ms Kirchman said that although the charity has just been launched, it is in the process of registering as a non- profit organisation.
