Cleveland police are warning residents to look out for a grey Isuzu bakkie in Cyrildene and surrounding areas.
The vehicle has apparently been used by suspects who are committing crimes in and around the area.
Police officials spotted the suspicious car in Cyril Street in Cyrildene on 21 November. Cleveland police spokesperson, constable Mpho Mashakane, said officials who were patrolling tried to stop the vehicle but the suspects drove off.
“The suspects threw a bag out of the car and fled the scene. The police found an AK47 with 60 rounds and a pistol with rounds, two balaclavas, a hat and gloves inside the bag,” said Mashakane.
