The body of an unidentified man was found at the corner of Repens and Cleveland roads in Heriotdale on 8 December.
Cleveland police received a phone call about the body of a deceased man who was shot multiple times.
Police officials proceeded to the given address. “Upon arrival, they found that the deceased victim had multiple wounds to his head and neck,” said Cleveland police spokesperson, Captain Johan Jordaan.
Police found six cartridges next to the deceased.
“The victim’s identity is still unknown,” said Jordaan.
A murder case was opened at the Cleveland Police Station. The police are appealing to the public for information about the murder.
