Local dancers return victorious
BEDFORDVIEW - Robyn Kirk, Gabriella Marques and Jessica Silva from Universal Dance Centre competed in the championship.
Three dancers from a Bedfordview based dance studio, who competed in the Freestyle World Championship in Blackpool have returned victorious.
Robyn Kirk, Gabriella Marques and Jessica Silva from Universal Dance Centre competed in the championship.
At the championship, Kirk made it to the quarter-finals for her freestyle slow dance routine while Marques competed in both champ solo and slow freestyle categories.
Together Kirk and Marques competed in the freestyle couples and placed fifth overall out of the 40 couples of the South African team.
The pair only chose to pair up a week before the championship.
Silva made it to the quarter-finals for her freestyle slow dance routine and placed seventh overall in her champ slow dance section
