A man believed to be in his 30s was found dead at Observatory Park this morning at about 6am.
According to Yeoville SAPS spokesperson Captain Sifiso Mabizela, a homeless man stopped a patrolling police van and told the police about a man lying on the ground.
Paramedics were called and declared him dead on scene.
“The cause of death is still unknown and an inquest docket will be investigated,” said Mabizela.
