UPDATE: Flying Squad arrest suspects in Edenvale

The vehicle the men were travelling in was positively identified as hijacked in Kempton Park.

Officers from the Gauteng Flying Squad arrested three suspects in Edenvale this afternoon.

The suspects were believed to have been in Edenvale to “commit crimes”.

Details of these crimes are unavailable. The suspects were found in possession of implements used in burglaries.

“Officers were acting on information received,” said Edenvale SAPS spokesperson, Capt Jean Olckers.

The vehicle the men were travelling in was positively identified as hijacked in Kempton Park.

The road remains closed while investigations continue.
