“I was approached by Terrence Mbeta, who explained to me that he wanted to give back to the Avalon Home for the Disabled through the fashion show,” Selinah said. “He told me that he needed someone to help with sewing clothes for the show.
“I did not even think twice about it. I immediately volunteered.”
Selinah said she learned about fashion from her mother, who used to sew.

“I used to model wearing the clothes that my mother sewed, and I always wanted to give other children the same opportunity I had when I was still a child. Fashion has always been my passion.”
In 2013, Selinah enrolled to study for a diploma at the SEWAFRICA Training Centre in Johannesburg’s Fashion District.
“I continued to sew and in 2016 my label Rondovls clothing was launched at Vilakazi Street in Soweto.
