A lovely lunch for seniors

It was all smiles at this year’s annual senior citizens luncheon on November 15.

The event, organised by Edenvale’s Residents Who Care committee, saw 100 local senior citizens treated to a special lunch at Fahrenheit.

Committee member Katy Young said the event was enjoyed by all.

Also at the event, despite her injuries, was Kathleen Thomson.

Kathleen was injured in November when she was attacked by three robbers.

The robbers took Kathleen’s jewellery and handbag, in the process injuring her arms.

Katy thanked everyone for their generous donations to the event.
