Capt André de Jager, Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson said the station had some good successes during the year of which the biggest was reducing crime month to month.
De Jager said the station also made more than 200 arrests for drug-related cases.
“The big arrest that was made was a few weeks ago when six suspects were arrested for house robbery. The detectives also arrested wanted suspects for different cases and these arrests made a huge impact on our detection rate when it comes to solving cases,” said de Jager.
