Thirteen injured in Kensington taxi crash
The cause of the collision is not yet known and local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.

Thirteen people were injured in a collision involving two taxis and three light motor vehicles on Roberts Avenue in Kensington on February 12.

“Paramedics arrived on the scene and found that one taxi had rolled and and came to a standstill in the middle of the road. The four other vehicles were found on the side of the road,” said Russel Meiring from ER24.
The occupants had already exited their vehicles and were found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that three had sustained serious injuries while 10 others had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Paramedics treated the patients and provided the three seriously injured with advanced life support interventions.
Once treated, the patients were transported to various hospitals in the area for further treatment.
