Jeppe High School to celebrate flower show

JEPPE – All arrangements are judged and house points will be awarded for Old Girls arrangements which will go to the overall house totals,

Jeppe High School for Girls will celebrate the 90th annual flower show from February 23 to 24.

There will be a feast of floral arrangements on display from current learners and the school also invites alumnae to participate.

“They are welcome to come to the school between 3.30pm and 8pm, armed with their flowers and ideas to create their masterpieces,” said Carole Heming.

She said there is no cost to enter and alumnae can enter as many arrangements as they like.

“All arrangements are judged and house points will be awarded for all alumnae arrangements which will go to the overall house totals,” she said.

Nerine were the 2017 champions.

The flower show will be open to the public on February 23 from 2.30pm until 6pm and on February 24 at 8.30am until 12.30pm.
