Rotary Club of Bedfordview visits El-Shammah House

The Rotary Club of Bedfordview has vowed to bring smiles to the faces of toddlers supported by El-Shammah House for abandoned babies.

The Rotary Club of Bedfordview has vowed to bring smiles to the faces of toddlers supported by El-Shammah House for abandoned babies.

“Too many babies are born without hope. People have given up on them. The world is a dark place for them. They appear hopeless. That’s where El-Shammah steps in. They restore hope,” said Aniki Schelin of Rotary Club Bedfordview.

“This visit brought great joy and happiness to the toddlers and babies at the home. Their smiles made us, as Rotarians, feel special.”

The Rotarians donated toys and clothing to the home and were also taken around the centre during their visit.

“We were also given the opportunity to play with the toddlers.

“Our visit was the most rewarding experience and we once again realised that the greatest thing in this life is love. Love has the power to heal, transform and build,” said Aniki.
