Four Edenglen Primary School learners were recently selected to participate in the area trials for the Discovery Soccer Tournament.

The learners selected for the tournament were Simon du Preez, Lwandi Tembi, Siyabonga Mkongi and Emmanuel Gitonga.
Emmanuel and Simon were also selected for the Southern Gauteng soccer team.
The local learners played well.
EGPS was one of the schools which had the highest number of boys selected to participate in the tournament.
