
Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court sentenced Letsiane Segopotso (40) to eight years, Lucky Mthikulu (29) and Mbuyeklaya Mndeni Sikhosana (31) to six years imprisonment for possession of a stolen vehicle, unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
They were sentenced on May 31.
The three were arrested in Bruma last year by JMPD officers who were patrolling in the area.

Cleveland SAPS spokesperson Capt Johan Jordaan said JMPD officials spotted a suspicious-looking VW Golf 5 and stopped it.
“They ordered the three occupants out of the car and searched them. Upon searching them they found three firearms in their possession. They also discovered that the vehicle that the occupants were using was stolen,” he said.
The three were arrested and taken to Cleveland SAPS where they were detained.
