Lunch for Inyoni women

Around 60 residents filled the waterside clubhouse.

The Inyoni Creek’s annual women’s lunch was held on June 7 and provided the perfect opportunity to welcome new residents and a new staff member to the Rand Aid-run retirement village.

Around 60 residents filled the waterside clubhouse.

Steve Foster and Arthur Hadden served as barmen on the day.

A delicious three-course meal was served, and new residents Rita Waisberg, Stella Granville, Mary Roberts and Joan Shaw got a glimpse of the warm Inyoni Creek hospitality.

Carol Garnett, who joined the village as receptionist recently, also had a chance to mingle with the residents.

Resident Carmel Borland played beautiful background music on the piano and barmen Steve Foster and Arthur Hadden served the women’s drinks in style.
