The EXPRESS reported on April 17 that Gumedze urged residents to vote for her.
“I would like to thank the EXPRESS readers who voted for me. I would not be where I am if it was not for their votes. Voting lines are still open but that does not guarantee that I will win. A finalist who gets more votes will receive a public choice award. If residents vote for me again I will also get extra social media points,” she said.
Gumedze has always been passionate about the beauty and modelling industry.

“My mother has always been supportive about my passion. I started modelling at the age of three. That was when my mother took me to a billboard advert auditions. I was chosen as one of the young babies to be used on the 2001 Nedbank billboard. I am now looking forward to being an Apprentesses ambassador.”
“I am pleading with residents to support the Apprentesses fund-raiser event which will be held at Rockwood Theatre on July 25. I need to sell tickets for this event as it will count towards the allocation of my debutant marks and title.
“Tickets are R160 per person. I will receive 160 points for each ticket sold. Tickets must be booked and paid for at least one week before the event,” she said.
People can vote for Gumedze by SMSing ‘Faith Gumedze’ to 35959.
SMSes are charged at R3.
Anyone who is interested in attending the fund-raising event can contact Gumedze via email at faith.gumedze@gmail.com or Whatsapp on 064 102 4058.
