Edenvale SAPS and members of private security companies took to the streets to coed a crime prevention operation.
During the operation on July 5, the officers and security personnel conducted roadblocks and arrested 13 individuals.
Capt Jean Olckers, Edenvale SAPS spokesperson, said two suspects were arrested for drug-related activities and 11 illegal immigrants were arrested.
Olckers said the operation made use of vehicle and foot patrols at shopping malls and known crime hot spots,
