March to create awareness about human trafficking to be held in Edenvale

The march will held in Edenvale on October 13.

In order to create awareness about human trafficking, Edenvale SAPS has partnered up with non-government organisation (NGO) City Takers, affiliated with Pure Fountain Family Church.

The partnership will see an anti-human trafficking awareness march held in Edenvale On October 13.

Head of Edenvale SAPS Social Crime Prevention Unit Sgt Jacob Mashile said the march will start and end at Horwood’s Farm.

He said the march will go down 17th Avenue, up Hendrik Potgieter Street, along Van Riebeeck Avenue and back to Horwood’s Farm.

Community members can meet at 7.30am but the march will start at 9am.
