Jeppe SAPS arrested 29 suspects between October 1 to 7.
The suspects were arrested for committing crimes ranging from murder, assault common and possession of unlicensed firearm.
The arrests included:
• One for murder.
• One for possession of an unlicensed firearm
• Five for assault common.
• Eleven for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH).
• Two for possession of stolen properties.
• One for shoplifting.
“Some of the suspects arrested have already appeared in different courts while others are yet to appear. Some of them have paid fines and bail while others remain in police custody waiting to appear in court,” said the station’s spokesperson Capt Richard Munyayi.
