Seniors host morning market

The morning market had book stalls, cake stalls, knitted goods, white elephant stall, tea and muffins and the second-hand shop was also made available.

On November 24, The Edenvale Senior Citizens Society hosted a morning market at the Edenvale Community Centre.

Katerina Caripis is a cook for the Edenvale Senior Citizens Society.

Vice-chairperson Linda Randwell said the morning market will help fund the daily meals prepared by Katerina Caripis for the society.

Wendy Laver, a member of the society, made bacon rolls for the morning market.

Members of the Edenvale Senior Citizens Society sold goods at the morning market.

“The food cooked by Katerina is amazing, I highly recommend it,” said Laver.
