Valentine’s challenge accepted

She has come across a number of divorces and has seen many breakups online and decided to try and help.

Actress, health and wellness lifestyle coach and Bedfordview resident Khabonina Qubeka, along with her husband, professional mixed martial arts (MMA) athlete Vuyisile Colossa (Master Vusi), are determined to give other couples the tools to stay fit, but most of all, to stay together.

Khabonina and her husband decided to launch the #FitCouplesChallenge to motivate couples to train together, but at the same time have fun together.

“How does the saying go? Train together, stay together right?” said Khabonina.

She has come across a number of divorces and seen many breakups online and has decided to try and help.

“Hubby and I believe a couple should have more to them than just dating.

“They need to be building something together, working on a side project, just something beyond traditional dating,” said Khabonina.

The #FitCouplesChallenge was posted online by Khabonina where she encouraged couples to join in by creating their own style and adding their own flavour.

She said the challenge is not just confined to training together, but anything that involves working together, such as cooking or crafts.

“We have also been going to different areas and homes to see their #FitCouplesChallenge adaptations.

“They are all amazing,” said Khabonina.
