Jeppe SAPS is looking for Sinenhlanhla Lushaba after the driver of a transport service was held up and robbed.
Capt Richard Munyayi said the 33-year-old driver alleged that at about 9pm on March 15 he was requested to pick up clients from Vickers Road, Jeppestown, for transport to George Goch.
“One man was seated in the front and the other took the back seat. The front seat occupant pulled up the hand brake and stopped the car.
“The man who was seated in the back took out a firearm and pointed it at the driver.
“His accomplice took the driver’s 9mm Beretta 951, money and wallet, which contained the driver’s firearm licence,” said Munyayi.
“The one told his accomplice to shoot the driver, who then drove drive off and crashed into a wall. The two men then fled on foot.
“The driver’s employer traced one of the suspects through a cellphone that was used to request the transport service.
