LATEST: Bedfordview SAPS nab suspects attempting to rob Kloof home

“Just before 8am today, a resident posted on social media stating that there were men on her property in Kloof Road.”

Bedfordview SAPS arrested three men attempting to rob a residential property on Kloof Road earlier today (May 3).

The suspects aged 31, 32 and 25 years old were charged with attempted residential robbery.

“Just before 8am today, a resident posted on social media stating that there were men on her property in Kloof Road,” said Bedfordview SAPS Spokesperson Capt André de Jager.

De Jager said Bedfordview SAPS and security officers rushed to the scene where he and Sgt Aiden Billings proceeded to search the property.

The resident and her employees were not harmed and safe inside the house.

“We managed to arrest the three men in the garden just before they could execute the robbery,” said de Jager.

He said that the men will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court on May 6.
