WATCH: Little Eden hosts a Royal Affair

Edenvale residents enjoyed the well-priced market that offered a wide variety of products.

Little Eden Society hosted its annual fête on May 11.

The fund-raising event’s theme this year was the Royal Affair.

Karaglen Virgin Active came out on the day and had Zumba instructor Kerryn Stow opening the circle for residents of Little Eden and Edenvale as they let loose and danced away.

Mamba Strike Force’s charity arm Red Bin Brigade donated a whopping R40 000 to the society that cares for persons with intellectual disabilities.

Xelda Rohrbeck, CEO of Little Eden Society, thanked their events coordinator Zama Zulu for the success of the fête.

“Zama should really take the credit. She did a great job of putting the entire event together,” said Xelda.

Edenvale residents enjoyed the well-priced market that offered a wide variety of products.

Residents showed up in their royal regalia, creating an interesting crowd to see.

Simone and Vanessa Oelofse dressed up as a medieval queen and the queen of hearts.

The fête was a lot of fun for Little Eden residents, staff and family members.
