Huggy Bears Pre-Primary creates a Christmas tree out of plastic bags

"These plastic bags have been saved from going into the bin and re-used to create a Christmas tree."

Learners from Huggy Bears Pre-Primary School in Bedfordview recently collected plastic bags which were used to create a Christmas tree.

Principal of Huggy Bears Pre-Primary Lisa Correia created the Christmas tree from plastic bags which were brought in by the children.

She said every year the school creates a Christmas tree with the main purpose of recycling.

“These plastic bags have been saved from going into the bin and re-used to create a Christmas tree to benefit our environment.

“After Christmas the tree will be given to a recycling plant for further recycling,” said Lisa.
