Dagga dealer caught in the act

Bedforview SAPS station commander Col Justus Geustyn congratulated officers for the arrest.

Bedfordview SAPS arrested a 39-year-old woman after witnessing her selling packets of dagga on Nicol Road in Bedfordview on February 12.

Capt André de Jager, Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson, said police officers conducted a successful observation operation on the woman.

“The officers observed the woman for a while.

“Once she was in the act selling dagga to people walking by, officers approached her,” said de Jager.

The woman was arrested and detained at Bedfordview SAPS.

“Congratulations to the officers who made the arrest.

“I would like to encourage the community to alert the police on people dealing or selling drugs in Bedfordview.

“This is to ensure the perpetrators are arrested and brought before court,” said Bedforview SAPS station commander Col Justus Geustyn.
