Baby Steps supports Angelman Syndrome Day
Teachers and staff participated on the day by bringing awareness to this disease while educating learners, supporting those affected and collecting donations for the Bophelo Day Care Centre.
Teachers and learners at four Baby Steps schools showed their support for those living with Angelman Syndrome by dressing in blue on February 15.
Angelman Syndrome is a genetic disorder that causes developmental disabilities and nerve-related symptoms. International Angelman Syndrome Day was observed on February 15.

Bophelo Day Care Centre is a non-profit organisation situated in Braamfontein. It provides care to children living with moderate to severe disabilities.
